Among cruise industry trends expected for 2011, according to a survey of Cruise Lines International Association members also released today:
– Growing interest in Europe cruises, both on ships sailing in oceans and on Europe’s rivers.
– Globalization of itineraries, including shorter cruises in Europe and elsewhere.
– Increased choice in dining experiences, with more specialty restaurants, guests chefs and local sourcing of food
– Growing interest in theme cruises, particularly those revolving around food and wine, music, culture and art.
