New York City Sightseeing Tips
New York City is great for sightseeing. However, large crowds could be a problem during your visit. That’s not necessarily the case. Here are some tips to avoid crowds while sightseeing in New York City.
- Go for sightseeing in New York City in Early spring or early fall which is the perfect time because it’s far enough away from Christmas and the kids are still in school so the crowds won’t be as bad throughout New York.
- Wake up early and get out as soon as you can. Just, New York isn’t as crowded early in the morning as with most major cities. Sightseeing before noon is always a good idea while in New York.
- Schedules personal tours at different destinations in New York City. Chances are that you’ll still be with a group during these sightseeing tours but the crowd won’t be anything that you can’t handle.
- Take a bus tour throughout Manhattan. These sightseeing tours will actually keep you away from the crowds since you’ll be on a bus for a few hours. You’ll see plenty of the tourist hot spots without having to fight the crowds.
- Consider taking a ferry tour around the island. The Circle Line tour, for example, is a nice way to spend the day and allows you to see the city from a different perspective. Much like the bus tours, this keeps you far away from any and all crowds found in New York.
New York City Sightseeing by bus
Walking all day in a big city can be exhausting. Fortunately, New York Tours offer several options for sightseeing by bus. Traveling by bus allows you to cover more ground and see more of New York’s attractions in a shorter period of time. Sightseeing by bus is also easy and fun. It is a recognized leader in New York City sightseeing.
You can chose the All Around Town tour for $49 which was a reasonable cost for all the admissions you will gain, including the Uptown Tour, Downtown Tour, Night Tour, Circle Line Cruise, and Museum of New York admission. Their guides were enthusiastic and interesting.
