Aged just 28 years, the anorexic model, Isabelle Caro is dead. According to her acting instructor Daniele Dubreuil-Prevot, Caro had actually died on the 17th of November after returning home to France from a job in Tokyo. Although she had braved living with anorexia from the age of 13, French actress and model, Isabelle Caro dies in Paris from the ravages of the disease.
The model suffered from the ravages of the perplexing psychologically body dysmorphic disorder from the age of 13. Although the exact cause of death was unknown, it was suspected that Caro had died as a consequence of her long term illness, of some 15 years – anorexia.
Caro was the feature of a shock Italian advertising campaign back in 2007 designed to spread the message of the horrors behind anorexia. Naked images of the model were displayed on billboards and newspapers across Italy, for an Italian fashion house.
